Our method
How we test web hosting: real accounts, real sites, real numbers
Every host on Hostnado is tested the same way — whether it’s a budget shared plan or a high-end cloud server. This page explains exactly how, so you can judge our results yourself.
Step by step
The test every host goes through
01
We buy the plan
With our own card, as a normal customer. No special review accounts, no free upgrades.
02
We install the test site
The same WordPress site on every host: same theme, plugins, posts and images.
03
We measure for 30 days
Speed from [N] locations, a load test, and uptime checked every minute.
04
We test support
[N] real questions per host — simple, technical and billing — with reply times logged.
05
We score and re-test
Scores follow the weights below. We re-test regularly and update every review.

Our promise
What we never do
Sell rankingsNo host can pay to move up a list or change a score.
Review without testingIf we haven’t bought and tested it, we don’t score it.
Hide the renewal priceEvery price we show sits next to what it renews at.
Leave old results upReviews show when they were last tested; stale ones get re-tested.
